Originally envisioned by PPP’s founder Daniel Lamb and Edwin Oostmeijer, a passionate collector and real estate developer, the PPP/Oostmeijer residency was a groundbreaking opportunity for artists to create, connect, and thrive. This residency provided a breathtaking 90 m² studio space with panoramic views of the IJ river waterfront and Amsterdam’s iconic Central Station.
Artists enjoyed full support, with all materials covered and a bike to explore the vibrant city. Accommodation was nothing short of extraordinary—a sleek, loft-style apartment nestled along one of Amsterdam’s picturesque canals.
The residency encouraged participants to dive into Amsterdam’s rich art scene, propose talks and workshops, and forge meaningful connections. At the end of each residency, artists showcased their work through dynamic physical and online exhibitions, leaving a lasting impression on audiences.
The residency programme ran from 2022 to 2024.
